AfricaCars connects people who wish to sell, search for or compare vehicles. AfricaCars is not the seller, does not own advertised vehicles and does not guarantee information published by users.

Sellers alone are responsible for their listing content, the vehicle’s existence, condition, history and documents, and its availability and advertised price.

A listing must accurately describe the offered vehicle. False, misleading, duplicate or unauthorized listings are prohibited. This includes deliberately inaccurate prices, mileage, year, condition, equipment, origin, customs status, ownership or availability; stolen or disputed vehicles; unauthorized third-party photos; sensitive documents or identifiable people; illegal, fraudulent or rights-infringing content; and links, scripts, QR codes or attachments intended to deceive users or collect data improperly.

Buyers must verify the vehicle and seller before any transaction. We recommend viewing the vehicle, comparing its chassis number with its documents, requesting its history, checking customs status when relevant, arranging an independent mechanical inspection and avoiding irreversible payments before verification.

You may report a suspicious, fraudulent or illegal listing, or an infringement of your rights, by emailing the listing link, useful screenshots and the reason for your report to contact@mail.africacars.bj.

AfricaCars may reject, hide, modify, demote or remove a listing, its associated QR code or an account when necessary to protect users, comply with the law or enforce these terms.

AfricaCars is currently free. Subscriptions, visibility options, sponsored listings or professional services may be offered after launch.

No fee will be payable until prices, applicable taxes, duration, renewal, payment methods, cancellation, refunds and sale terms have been clearly displayed and accepted by the relevant user.

Any sponsored listing or paid placement must be identifiable as such, for example with a ‘Sponsored’ or ‘Advertisement’ label.

Commercial messages by email, SMS, WhatsApp or an equivalent channel may be sent only with the required consent and a simple way to unsubscribe or object. Users must not use AfricaCars to send spam or unsolicited messages.

AfricaCars’ text, interfaces, databases, graphics and original content are protected. Users retain rights in the photos and text they publish but grant AfricaCars a non-exclusive right to host, display, adapt to the service format, promote and moderate them for platform purposes.

Manufacturer names, models, logos, services and vehicle equipment belong to their respective owners. They are used only to identify or describe vehicles and do not imply affiliation, endorsement or partnership.

QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED. Bluetooth is a trademark of Bluetooth SIG, Inc. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Google, Google Maps, WhatsApp and other cited marks belong to their respective owners.

QR codes generated for or associated with a listing direct users to an AfricaCars page. They must not be changed to mislead users, hide their destination, impersonate AfricaCars or redirect to a fraudulent website. Information accessible through a QR code must remain consistent with the listing and these terms.

AfricaCars uses reasonable efforts to maintain a useful and secure service but cannot guarantee the absence of errors, interruptions, inaccurate content or fraudulent user behavior. Each user remains responsible for their decisions and must take appropriate precautions before a sale, purchase or meeting.
